The DML Facial Expression Database with posed and evoked expressions and emotions is a video database containing face videos showing a number of subjects performing the six different basic emotions defined by Eckman and Friesen. The database has been developed in an attempt to assist researchers who investigate the effects of posed and evoked facial expressions in face images.
This facial expression database was created by Digital Multimedia Laboratory in Sharif University of Technology with INCAS Neuro Psychological Laboratory. The DML FEDB database contains over 380 color videos corresponding to evoked, semi-evoked and posed facial expressions of 10 Iranian university student’s (6 men and 4 women) that are 18 to 23 years old. Each person imaged with 7 different expressions (6 basic facial expressions i.e., happy, surprise, anger, fear, disgust, and sadness + 1 neutral) in 3 level of expressions (posed, semi-evoked and evoked) and videos are in Visible and Thermal Domains.
Also, for all frames of all videos the facial key points is extracted manually. This key points are illustrated in the following figure:

The DML FEDB database is publicly available and can be obtained from this website. It is totally free for academics whishing to test their systems. Commercial distribution or any act related to commercial use of this database is strictly prohibited.
